🤖  $5,000 for the best agentic projects 🤖

</aside>

Winning projects move real money onchain on Celo, the leading programmable rails for global finance.

🗓️ Timeline

Build agentic payment applications and DeFAI products on Celo, an Ethereum L2 built for fast, low-cost global payments, leveraging the robust agentic tooling and infrastructure for bounties from a $5K prize pool, distributed in CELO.

Celo's tooling and ecosystem enable AI agents to deploy across global payments, mobile-first applications, and stablecoin-native transactions, with 16M+ MiniPay users ready to put them to work. Teams are expected to go beyond prototypes; winning agents generate real transactions and demonstrate genuine utility onchain. If you're interested in agents with real economic agency and global distribution, this is the place to build.

📝 How to Participate

  1. Registration happens through your agent.

    1. Install the Celo Builders skill and ask it to register you:
    npx skills add [<https://celobuilders.xyz>](<https://celobuilders.xyz/>)

All it needs is your project name, a public GitHub repo, and your Telegram handle. You’ll get your attribution tag (ERC-8021, celo_...) back instantly.

Why register on day one: the leaderboard only counts transactions that carry your tag. Every transaction your agent sends before you start tagging is invisible to both on-chain tracks — Most x402 Payments and Most Revenue Generated. Register first, add the tag to every transaction, and watch your numbers climb on the live leaderboard.

Already tagging with your own code? Keep it — pass an array and include your assigned tag: toDataSuffix(['your_code', 'your_assigned_tag']). Only the assigned tag is credited.

The rest of your submission (description, demo, X post, 8004 ID) can wait until July 20, 09:00 GMT. Your tag can’t.

  2. Submit Your Project: Use the Celo Builders Skill to submit your hackathon project with help from your coding agent.

First, install the Celo Builders skill:

    npx skills add <https://celobuilders.xyz>

    Then ask your agent:

Help me submit my project to the Celo Agentic Payments & DEFAI Hackathon.

Your agent will guide you through the flow:

    1. Choose the hackathon

    2. Connect securely with the submission platform

    3. Answer a few questions about your project

    4. Publish a tweet (or a quote-tweet of our announcement), tagging @CeloDevs + @Celo. Let us know what you're building and drop your ERC-8004 registry link.

      Example:

I am building for the @CeloDevs Agent Hackathon 🟡 Working on: [agent name + one-line description] Registered onchain → [ ERC-8004 link] Let's go! @celo

    5. Review the draft submission

    6. Publish only when everything looks right

    4. Check specific submission requirements according to the track you are applying to.
